The World of Aerwynd
A mythic fantasy setting for 5e TTRPG Games

The world of Aerwynd was formed long ago from the blood and bone of ancient dragon gods and demon lords who sought to control the destiny of a star. Aerwynd is named after the ancient dragon goddess, Aerwyndria who sacrificed her body to form the world by binding the other dragon gods and demons to a primordial worldheart.
Their descendants, the races that populate Aerwynd today, replaced the ancient war between dragon gods and demon lords.
In the realms, the first races of elves, humans, dwarves, centaurs, and gnomes have each at one time held kingdoms of their own. They have continually vied for dominance amongst themselves for thousands of years.
Ley lines and planar crossroads feed arcane and eldritch innovations. The ley lines are strands of pure magical energy bound to the multiverse. Collectively the ley lines and planar crossroads are a vast mystical web called the Aether Weave. The Aether Weave is everywhere and connects to everything and everyone but coalesces into ley lines and planar crossroads that wizards and other magic users access to fuel powerful spells for both good and evil.
Rifts in the Aether Weave occasionally happens when a ley line has become magically frayed or a violent surge of wild magic rips it apart. A rift is a breach in the reality of the multiverse . In response to the rift the weave will attempt to mend itself by releasing a en eldritch Aethermist in the affected area.
Aethermist is an obscuring planar mist that surrounds the breach in an attempt to heal itself. A frayed breach will usually mend itself within hours but a surge breach can takes weeks to mend. Refined Aethermist into a liquid or crystal state is called Aetherium and it is a highly potent magical substance that is extremely volatile. The mist has become a highly sought after magical resource by commoners and magic users across Aerwynd. This enterprise is welcome in magically industrious regions that have learned to market aethermist as currency or a power source the common folk and rural communities tend to find it devastating.
Convenient technological and magical wonders have been discovered through the experimental use of aethermist. It has allowed the common folk of Aerwynd a small taste of the wonders that mages and magical creatures use. Aethermist has ushered in a new age of innovation and magical technology that has advanced many metropolitan areas of Aerwynd.
The cities, kingdoms, and regions across Aerwynd all have some connection to the weave and magic as a whole. The Aetherium Planar Society believes that Aerwynd itself is one thread of a much larger tapestry of the multiverse.
Astra Luna Isles
Space Fantasy Campaign Setting
The Astra Luna Isles is a sprawling chain of floating islands set adrift in the Astral Sea. These isles are remnants of ancient celestial bodies, shattered and scattered by cosmic forces, now bound together by potent magics. Surrounding the Isles is the mesmerizing, yet treacherous, Aetherflux Nebula—a swirling maelstrom of rainbow-colored gases and arcane energy that acts as both a shield and a barrier, isolating the Isles from the rest of the Astral Sea.
The Aetherflux Nebula
The Aetherflux is both awe-inspiring and perilous. Its vibrant hues pulse with unstable magic, creating storms that can tear apart ships and unleash wild, unpredictable spells. Only the most skilled or foolhardy navigators dare to approach its edge, and even they never risk entering its depths.
World of Kruhl
Eldritch Chrome: A 5E Campaign Setting
The world of Kruhl, once a thriving realm of advanced civilizations and powerful magical empires, is now a desolate wasteland. Nearly a thousand years ago, during the cataclysmic event known as The Scorch, the great nations of Kruhl unleashed devastating weapons of mass destruction that reduced their world to ash and radioactive ruin. The once-vibrant cities are now twisted metal and crumbling stone, and the fertile lands have become barren deserts, irradiated swamps, and haunted ruins.
But Kruhl is not completely lifeless. Survivors of the Scorch, hardened by centuries of hardship, have adapted to the wasteland. They scavenge, fight, and claw out a living in the shadow of their world’s former glory. Now, new threats emerge as the Elderward sigils—ancient magical seals designed to protect Kruhl from extra-dimensional horrors—begin to weaken. The sigils’ deterioration has allowed the Voidspawn Titans—colossal, eldritch monstrosities from a far-off dimension—to breach reality, bringing with them a wave of chaotic energies that warp the very fabric of existence.
The Voidspawn Titans’ presence has infused the wasteland with eldritch energies, creating new horrors and empowering those who dare to harness this otherworldly power. Survivors now battle not only the harsh environment and each other but also these terrifying new creatures. They do so in Eldritch Machines—massive, semi-sentient war machines powered by the blood of the Voidspawn Titans themselves. These machines are the pinnacle of post-apocalyptic survival, merging ancient technology with eldritch power.
